Important Limitations

⚠️ DRM-Protected Content

This extension cannot capture DRM-protected videos. Videos from streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and similar platforms will appear as black screens when captured. This is a browser security limitation, not a bug.

✅ Works with: YouTube, Discord, Twitch, Vimeo, and most non-DRM video content
❌ Does NOT work with: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and other DRM-protected services

Troubleshooting

Extension not working?
  • Make sure you've extracted the ZIP file completely before loading
  • Refresh the page after installing the extension
  • Check that Developer mode is enabled
  • Try reloading the extension from the Extensions page
  • If videos appear black, check if the site uses DRM protection (see limitations above)
